Why We’re Grateful for the Dealers We Serve: Reflections from the VitalEdge Team

November 21, 2025

Behind every thriving dealership is a team of dedicated people who push their business forward — solving problems, supporting their communities, and finding new ways to serve their customers every day. At VitalEdge, we’re fortunate to work with dealers who bring that level of commitment to every interaction.

For Customer Appreciation Week, we asked our employees to share what they admire most about the customers they support. The stories that came back weren’t about software features or project timelines. They were about partnership — the collaboration, resilience, and trust that make this industry special.

Across departments, our teams highlighted customers who are proactive, thoughtful, curious, and deeply invested in doing right by their own employees and communities. These stories remind us why we do what we do: because the people we serve are dedicated, forward-thinking, and always striving to improve.

Below are reflections from VitalEdge employees about the customers who inspire them every day.

From Mark Deschamps, Data Specialist

“I’d like to say a special thanks to Jessica Kozitza, the project advocate we had for our A&E Construction install that went live today.

She was the first client we worked with to extract data out of QuickBooks, and she is a rockstar.

Not only was she very knowledgeable about the QuickBooks business system, but she took the time to show us how to navigate the system and how to modify and re-save the customized reports for future extraction.

She provided all three passes of data on time and in the same format.

Much appreciation and thanks to her.”

From Chris Palazzi, Senior Technical Course Developer

“In June 2025, Parish Tractor requested training on the Center for Learning to familiarize new and existing employees with all the learning opportunities available. Parish Tractor’s main headquarters are located in Mississippi (researched by the facilitator prior to training).

The training began with a short story on how I learned to spell Mississippi growing up in the Northeast. I told them I learned to spell it a specific way and never forgot how to spell it… ‘M I crooked letter, crooked letter I, crooked letter, crooked letter I, humpback, humpback I.’ They told me that being from Mississippi, they learned it the same way, and all 26 trainees began spelling it together in unison. Very funny!!

We began the training, and this set the tone for participants being highly engaged, asking questions, and participating. We ended the training spelling Mississippi again, the way we learned it as children.

Fun training session with Parish Tractor and lots of engagement.”

From Jeff Spencer, Account Executive

“Since stepping into my role in April 2025, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with the ML Holdings team — and I genuinely appreciate both their patience and their commitment as we’ve worked together.

Two of the three core leaders on their side are also relatively new to e-Emphasys, which has made this journey feel very shared. From day one, we aligned quickly on one common goal: move with purpose, execute well, and deliver outcomes that matter. Our weekly working sessions have been productive, collaborative, and genuinely enjoyable.

MLH has multiple initiatives underway, and over the past several months we’ve been able to collectively get most projects launched — with several now nearing successful completion. This progress is a direct reflection of the professionalism and responsiveness of their team.

It has been a pleasure working with Myles, Sam, and Mike. They consistently provide what’s needed to keep momentum moving forward — and I want them to feel they can rely on me in the same way. At this point, it doesn’t feel like a customer/vendor relationship… it feels like I’m part of the MLH team.”

From Annie Keophila, Customer Advocacy and Product Marketing Lead

“I’m a firm believer that appreciation, small or big, goes a long way. I’ve been in my role at VitalEdge for about five months now, and it’s been nothing short of amazing opportunities to learn about the heavy equipment industry directly from our customers, who really know the ins and outs and can provide extensive, rich industry knowledge.

I’m appreciative of our customers that I’ve already met, like the Darr Equipment team in Dallas, Texas, who extended a warm welcome to capture their success story — thank you! I am looking forward to meeting every single one of our customers to hear and appreciate their story.”
